Many of the men I work with are new to therapy — often unsure what to expect or how therapy works. In our conversations together we’ll explore what’s happening in your life, notice patterns, and develop a recognition of what’s activating your frustration or exhaustion or sense of being stuck. Over time, you’ll cultivate clarity, courage, and a way of being and living that feels more authentic and less reactive. Our work together will be dynamic, action oriented as well as introspective and exploratory.

I specialize in working with men — especially those navigating midlife questions, relationship strain, anger, or feeling stuck despite external success. Many describe feeling disconnected — from others, from purpose, or from themselves — and desire to reconnect to what matters most.
Some arrive during a crisis, some have been prompted by a partner or spouse, while others come with questions about purpose, meaning, or direction.

There is no prescribed timeline. Some men work with me for a few months to address a particular issue, while others continue the work as part of ongoing growth. We’ll explore your goals and the pace that feels right for you.
Often we’ll begin meeting at a weekly interval and then scale back to every other week or monthly meetings for ongoing support.

Yes, I am trained in Emotion Focused Couples Therapy and find that many men reluctant to engage in therapy find it beneficial to work with a male therapist to address issues in their partnership or marriage.

It costs $170 for a 50-minute session. Therapy is a big commitment and cost so I do offer Sliding Scale slots to support anyone unable to afford the full fee. Please contact me to inquire.
You can pay for therapy sessions with your Health Savings Account, and if you have any Out-of-network mental healthcare benefits I will send you monthly invoices to help with reimbursement .

You’ll fit right in here. Many men are taught to ignore or resist what they are actually feeling. I grew up avoiding and shutting down my feelings, so I will meet you right where you are.
If you are used to filtering, suppressing or avoiding what you feel, this space will help you recognize, name and learn from the feelings and emotions that you are experiencing.
